I started off on the internet back in the age of AOL and Geocities, close to the end of the era of the BBS. A time way before Facebook, MySpace, or LinkedIn. A time where you had to build your own webpage to share your goings on. I lost count of how many of those pages I have had over the years, but this site started back in December of 2007 under the name of Digitalstuffy.com as a project while I was in college to create a collection of things to show off as part of my resume. Through the years the site has undergone a few changes and has gotten far more expansive (content wise).
My site now is one part show and tell / portfolio of work and one part notebook to document about places I have been and things. On my site a visitor may run into a breakdown of a computer or maybe a game review, right next to pictures of the latest laser cut artwork I completed. My own bubble of the internet, not governed by some faceless corporation ruling with an ever changing and poorly documented rule set.
